Stretch Recovery Lounge, with five New Jersey locations in Ridgewood, Tenafly, Westfield, Hoboken and Montclair, is a first class Assisted Stretching and Athletic Recovery Facility. We cater our services to all ages and fitness levels. We are here to help people in their everyday life, as well as in athletics. Stretch Recovery Lounge was Founded in 2019 with the mission of helping people live their best life through assisted stretching. If you are dealing with stiffness, tightness, tension, mobility issues, back pain or mobility issues, Stretch Recovery Lounge is the place for you.

Jake Feury
Founder
Jake’s primary focus at Stretch is running the business operations of the facility. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Moreover, Jake spent three years as a professional rugby with Rugby United New York of Major League Rugby. Today, he continues to play with his hometown club, Morris Rugby. Jake’s rugby career has included extended playing stints in England with Wimbledon RFC in 2018, Ireland with Trinity College RFC in 2016, and Australia with GPS RFC in 2013. He has also been a member of the Northeast Rugby Olympic Development Academy since its inception in 2013.
He graduated from Middlebury College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Minors in Political Science and Environmental Studies. At Middlebury he played one year of football and four years of rugby, three of which he was the captain. He was an All-American during his senior year of collegiate rugby. Additionally, he was a USA Rugby All-American his senior year of high school, representing the Under-18 National 7s Rugby Team in 2012. Prior to working at Stretch, he spent several years working for the National Football League in a variety of business capacities.
When not at work he is typically spending time in the outdoors, enjoying board/ski sports and playing the ukulele.

Herman Gross
Manager – Ridgewood
Herman is a Licensed Massage Therapist, who has a background in Athletic Training. He has been working in the assisted stretching industry for eight years. As the Valedictorian of his graduating Massage Therapy class at the Fortis Institute, his main focus has always been prevention of injuries and gearing up clients for their next workout or game. Herman was a high- level athlete in his own right, making it to the final three phases of Taekwondo Olympic Trials leading up to the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Herman was the Captain of the New Jersey State Taekwondo team and has contributed as a member the USA National Team. Herman still competes in taekwondo today and also spends much of his free time coaching local taekwondo athletes.
Prior to working at Stretch Recovery Lounge, Herman worked at Wolkes Chiropractic and Rehabilitation as their soft tissue specialist. Prior to that, Herman worked as the Assistant Manager and Head Stretch Coach at Kika Stretch Studios for five years. Herman has experience working with athletes, the general public and even those with disabilities.
Herman is here to work with everyone to help them reach their goals!

Marissa McLoughlin
Manager - Montclair
Marissa graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a concentration in Exercise Physiology. Prior to joining the Stretch team, she worked as a Physical Therapy Aid at Joint Health Physical Therapy in Rutherford, New Jersey. Prior to transferring to William Patterson, Marissa attended East Stroudsburg University, where she worked in the Athletic Training department, assisting the athletic trainers for the Women’s Field Hockey team. At East Stroudsburg, Marissa was also a member of the Cheerleading Team.
When she is not at Stretch, she enjoys shopping and going to the beach.

Priscilla Colon
Stretch Practitioner
Priscilla graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. Prior to joining Stretch Recovery Lounge, she has worked on the athletic training staff of Ridgewood and Don Bosco High School. Moreover, she has experience working as a Physical Therapy Aid at Ferraro Spine and Rehabilitation and South Orange Rehabilitation and Wellness. She has also coached soccer professionally in the New York Red Bulls youth system. Prior to transferring to Montclair State, she played soccer at Bergen County Community College.
When she is not at Stretch, she enjoys training in Muay Thai and DJing.

KJ Feury
Head of Protocol
KJ is a Nurse Practitioner and a Critical Care Nurse. She has worked in that capacity for nearly 40 years. She has experience working in high-pressured situations in the emergency room, while also providing sideline coverage for rugby matches. She is an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Child Passenger Safety Instructor, Certified First Aid Specialist for Rugby and Certified Immediate Care Practitioner for Rugby.
Through her many medical hats she has worn, active stretching, passive stretching, and range of motion has made a difference for her patients throughout her career.

Alexis Kearney
Stretch Practitioner
Alexis Is currently working towards her doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Rutgers University. Before that, she went to the College of Charleston in South Carolina where she received her Bachelors degree with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Medical Humanities. She uses her knowledge in anatomy and kinesiology to create a highly individualized stretch session.
As a stretch coach and future occupational therapist, she works with people in order to help them be able to participate fully in their desired activities. When she is not at Stretch she enjoys traveling, horseback riding and spending time with her friends and family.

Matt Macias
Stretch Practitioner
Prior to working at Stretch Recovery Lounge, Matt worked as a Physical Therapy Aid at Professional Physical Therapy in Emerson, New Jersey. He is currently in his final year at Dominican College where he will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science.
At Dominican, he is a member of the Track and Field Team.

Margaret Yorkgitis

Angela Gessner
Stretch Practitioner
Angela is currently a student at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, where she is working towards her degree in Exercise Science. Prior to working at stretch, she worked as a physical therapy aide at TwinBoro Physical Therapy in Martinsville, New Jersey. Moreover, she has a background in cheerleading, both as a participant and as a coach. When she is not at stretch, Angela enjoys working out, going to the beach, and spending time with friends.

Angie Morales

Angie is enthusiastic about preserving the longevity of the human body via stretching and plans to utilize interest in kinesiology at Medical School in the near future. Currently, Angie is finishing up her last semester at Rutgers University, where she will earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a pre-med concentration. Prior to joining the Stretch team, Angie power-lifted on the Rutgers Club Powerlifting Team.
When she is not at Stretch, Angie enjoys completing art projects and working out.

Dana Sanguir
Stretch Practitioner
An avid fitness junkie, Dana joined the Stretch team in the spring of 2022. Dana is a certified personal trainer through International Sports Science Association. Her focus during her certification as Strength & Conditioning. Prior to working at Stretch Recovery Lounge, Dana worked as a personal trainer at Blink Fitness in Paramus, New Jersey. Passionate in the arts, she has also worked as an illustrator in independent comic books and interactive novels. She endeavors to empower clients through fitness and recovery, so they can live better and fuller lives, both physically and mentally.

Hailey Koerner
Stretch Practitioner
Hailey is a senior at Rutgers University, where she is working towards a degree in Exercise Science. Over the course of her junior year she did a stretching-based thesis project, where taught and measured a group of individuals on various stretching techniques and studies progress trends amongst the group. After she finishes at Rutgers, she plans to take the next step at and apply to Medical School. When Hailey isn’t working, she is on campus helping run charity events such as Special Olympics, Service for Sight and For the Kids. In her free time, she enjoys painting, working out, skiing, and snowboarding.

Kevin Cheung
Stretch Practitioner
With a great passion for health and wellness, Kevin prioritizes the importance of recuperation and enhancement of human physiology through stretching. Kevin Cheung graduated at William Paterson University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science with a Concentration in Exercise Physiology. Aside from being a Stretch Practitioner, Kevin has worked at Jag One Physical Therapy as an aide.
In his free time, he loves to work out and has a strong passion for bodybuilding and powerlifting.

Nicole Roncancio
Manager – Tenafly
Nicole graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with a Concentration in Professional Studies. While she was at Montclair State, she was also a Personal Trainer for students and teachers on campus. In addition to working on the Stretch Recovery Lounge team, she also works at the Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy clinic in Englewood, New Jersey. Looking ahead, Nicole hopes to continue her studies to pursue a license in physical therapy.

Karen Ramirez
Stretch Practitioner
Karen has a background in multiple areas of the wellness field. She is currently attending the Sun Institute New Jersey School of Massage Therapy and Integrative Health. At this program, she studies Massage Therapy and Hwal Gong, which focuses on Acupressure and Energy Healing. Prior to working at Stretch Recovery Lounge, she worked in the event and hospitality space. She graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Advertising, before moving into the health and wellness arena.
Karen's passion is to engage with her mind, body and spirit and to assist others to do the same.

Danielle Bertolotti
Stretch Practitioner
Danielle is a dedicated professional with a strong background in health and wellness. Her core mission revolves around empowering individuals to reclaim control over their health journey. She is a Certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Moreover, she is a certified Holistic Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is a skilled Brathwork and Reiki practitioner.
Before her role at Stretch Recovery Lounge, Danielle had extensive dance training for 15 years. As a part of that journey, Danielle attended Talent Unlimited, a performing arts high school in Manhattan. Furthermore, she gained valuable experience as an aide at New York Chiropractic & Physical Therapy. Her passion for coaching also led her to the Sports Science Lab at St. Joseph by the Sea High School in Staten Island, NY as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Additionally, Danielle made significant contributions at Therabody, the pioneering brand behind Theragun, working at their Columbus Circle location in New York City. Lastly, Danielle boasts over 8 years of expertise in supporting individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds solace in cooking, connecting with nature, reading, yoga, weightlifting and the practice of meditation.

Ariel Berkowitz
Stretch Practitioner
Ariel is a dedicated professional in the field of wellness, with a passion for helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. Ariel has also cultivated a profound interest in anatomy and its connection to physical wellness. This passion has seamlessly blended into her role as a Stretch Practitioner, where her knowledge of the human body's mechanics enhances her ability to guide clients through effective stretching sessions.
Ariel graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's of Arts in Writing & Communication, before graduation from American University with a Master's of Science in Nutrition Education in 2022. She is currently working towards becoming a Registered Dietitian via their Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Certificate program.
Ariel's journey into the world of wellness, in particular nutrition, began with her unwavering curiosity about the intricate relationship between nourishment and overall health. Her academic pursuits have equipped her with a deep understanding of the science behind nutrition, enabling her to translate complex concepts into practical advice for her clients. Her commitment to continuous learning ensures that she stays updated with the latest developments in the field.
When Ariel is not at Stretch Recovery Lounge, she finds solace in the practice of yoga, a discipline that resonates with her belief in the harmony between mind and body. She enjoys leveraging her yoga expertise to design personalized stretching routines that not only provide physical benefits but also promote mental clarity and relaxation. She also finds joy in simple pleasures like walking her dog, creating nutritious recipes in the kitchen, seeking out the hidden gems of her city, exploring all the coffee shops, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jazlyn Moya
Stretch Practitioner
Jazlyn graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor's of Science in Health Studies. At Monmouth, she played Division I soccer, winning three MAAC Championships.
In addition to working as a Stretch Practitioner at Stretch Recovery Lounge, Jazz is also a professional soccer player and soccer coach. She has been an active member of the Dominican Republic Women's National Soccer Team since 2020. In the summer of 2022 she played in Australias top professional league for the Logan Lightning FC. At the conclusion of that season, she won the Players' Player and Golden Boot awards. She knew she always wanted to be around athletes and help all clients and patients reach their goals. Before working at Stretch Recovery Lounge, she worked in Ophthalmology Offices, assisting patients with many eye diseases from Glaucoma to Cataracts.
Outside of work, Jazz enjoys listening to music, trying new cuisines, working out and soaking up the sun!

Kiara Tosado
manager - hoboken
Kiara has over five years of experience in the field of sports medicine and rehabilitation. While completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science at William Paterson University, she worked as a Physical Therapy Aide and a Chiropractic Intern. After completing her degree, she went on to be an Exercise Specialist at the South Lake Wellness and Injury Center. There she curated wellness programs with stretching and exercise for various populations, including older adults, high school athletes and college athletes. Moreover, as an athlete herself, she enjoys weightlifting, boxing and has found a new love for running! She loves using her knowledge of anatomy and physiology and her passion for sports and fitness to create stretch sessions specific to your recovery needs.

Kylee graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Athletic Training. At PSU, she worked with many sports teams, including football and men's basketball. Additionally, she had an internship working with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corp in Indiana as a Student Athletic Trainer. She is currently attending Montclair State University to earn her Master's in Exercise Science and Sports Studies with a concentration in Sports Administration. When she is not at Stretch Recovery Lounge, she enjoys working out, going to concerts, and spending time with friends & family.Kevin Espinoza

Kevin is currently completing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at the Rutgers School of Health Professions. He is currently completing his final clinical rotations, where he works with a multitude of patients to bring them back to full functional health. Prior to that, Kevin also attended Rutgers University for his undergraduate studies, where he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and accompanied it with a Minor in Psychology.
Kevin has experience designing individualized plans of care for patients in clinical settings and carries over his knowledge in the physical therapy clinic to Stretch Recovery Lounge to create personalized stretch sessions. He enjoys working with people to achieve their personal functional goals and improve their quality of life.
Outside of the Stretch Recovery Lounge, Kevin enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer, playing basketball, running, and watching sports.

Stephanie Kleman
Stretch Practitioner
Stephanie graduated from SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science and a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science. Stephanie has been a dancer since she was three years old, so stretching has always been a part of her life! She enjoys getting to combine her life-long stretching experience with her scientific background in anatomy and physiology to create safe, effective, and personalized stretch sessions for every person she has the opportunity to work with.
Outside of her work at Stretch Recovery Lounge, Stephanie is still an active member of the local NJ/NY dance community. She also enjoys hobbies such as reading, painting, drawing, cross-stitching, photography, videography, or really anything that offers her a creative outlet!
