Our stretch practitioners can’t diagnose, prescribe or act as a substitute for a medical examination. When someone is cleared by their doctors or has been released from Physical Therapy we can provide assisted stretching services. Our main focus is preventative care as opposed to fixing an already injured area.

If there is availability and a coach is present at the time of the desired session, then yes! However, this may not always be available, so we recommend booking in advance.

Stretch Recovery Lounge incorporates other modalities into their sessions, such as the Hypervolt therapy gun, which will aid in muscle relaxation to allow for deeper and more thorough stretches. Moreover, we also offer Compression Therapy. Lastly, every session is custom-designed to each individual’s need.

After the session, be prepared to feel limber, loose and relaxed! Keep in mind, stretching still consists of contracting and relaxing the muscle groups so it is considered a very passive way to workout. Depending on activity levels you may or may not feel slight soreness the next day after your stretch. However, this is not a bad thing! It just indicates the muscles are moving in ways they aren’t normally accustomed to. This means the body is getting stronger! If soreness occurs then walking or general activity will help recover!

That is up to you. It is completely a personal decision.

All appointments must be cancelled or modified with at least 24 hours of notice in order to avoid a late fee. Modifying an appointment within 24 hours of the appointment time will result in a late fee that is charged to the credit card on file automatically. The fee is $15 for a 25-min appointment and $30 for a 55-min appointment. If an appointment is no-showed, the same late fees detailed above apply. This process is strictly enforced.

Comfortable clothing such as sweats or shorts. Avoid wearing clothes that will restrict movement. Please wear socks.

Our Stretch Practitioner will give you an examination before any stretches are done. You will go over a medical history and converse about any pains, aches or discomforts you’ve been feeling, as well past injuries. We will also put you through some range of motion testing. The major muscle groups and posture will be assessed throughly, as well. We will be sure to provide pinpoint assisted stretches that will help aid in the body parts that need it most! We will finish off with a reccomendation on what to do moving forward.

Yes! All stretch practitioners have gone through a rigorous training program and have an excellent range of knowledge on anatomy and how to safely and correctly perform all the stretches on all body types, ages and physiques. They must pass a written and practical exam before being certified to work at Stretch Recovery Lounge.

If you’re recently out of injury or surgery or haven’t been cleared by a doctor, then it would be best to avoid any stretches until you’re given the approval. We do not diagnose or take the place of a doctor, chiropractor or medical practitioner.


‘We have four parking spots behind our facility. You are welcome to park in spot #20 and #21 (it is okay if you double park in another vehicle in front of that spot) or spot #7 or #8. There are signs that designate those spots as “Stretch Member Parking”. To get to these spots, simply go through the alley located a few storefronts east of us. The alley is located in between Spotless Cleaners and La Boca restaurant. Once going down the alley, just hang a left to get to our spots. You can also park in metered parking on the street. Moreover, there are typically free spots open on Sherman Place just a block away from the facility, as well.


We have a private parking lot behind our facility that has plenty of spots!


There is plenty of street parking, as well as available free public parking in the train station across the street during certain hours of the day.

Following two months of payments, members can cancel their membership anytime, with a 31-day notice, by contacting Stretch at A representative from the Member Services and Customer Service Team will respond to the email to present the options and engage the process. Once decided, the team will send an email to solidify the change. Please note that memberships cannot be modified over the phone or in-person, they must go through the email address listed above. Please note that 31 days of notice are required for any membership modification. For clarity, this means that from the moment the email request is received, there will be one more monthly payment due before the change is implemented. Membership modifications cannot be scheduled out further than 31 days ahead of time. For example, a membership cancelation cannot be scheduled multiple months ahead of time. The 31-day notice of a membership modification can only be applied in real time. This process is strictly enforced without exception.
